Now Working With Stage School Australia – Spring Awakening

We are so excited to be working with Stage School Australia who have a history of breaking new talent! This coming January, 2023 you’ll want to start your year with heading to their production of “Spring Awakening”.

In 2011 the Young Australian Broadway Chorus produced the Melbourne Premier of “Spring Awakening” now they will bring this multi-award-winning musical back to the stage in January 2023.

This musical has won 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical! “Spring Awakening” is based on the play by German dramatist Frank Wedekind. Situated in 1891 Germany, the story explores the journey from adolescence into adulthood through a compelling fusion of morality, sexuality and rock and roll.

This is a celebration of youth and rebellion and follows a group of German students as they navigate themes of sexual awakenings, and the control of information by parents, teachers and the community.

This show isn’t for the lighthearted with themes including domestic violence, incest, rape, teen pregnancy, abortion, death including suicide, as well as strong language.

The most ardent of musical lovers will know and love this musical and will not want to miss out.
