Sports Publicity - Howzat For Brand Activations

4 February, 2019

We had the pleasure of working with Tradefaire International, BKT Tyres and Havas this Summer to deliver brand activations at the live sites at the Big Bash League for Cricket Australia. We had so much fun with this digital campaign. Our creative included a green screen photo booth in which fans were encouraged to pick a background and then take an action shot. Once uploaded to their social media channel as a public pic and with the hashtag BKT Cricket - fans went into the draw to win big including; a trip to the Ashes in London, a money can't buy experience on the field before the game and an awesome cricket bat valued at over $600. The end results were fantastic with a huge digital footprint for the brand. Coupled with a bowling activation run by Havas and BKT sunnies for everyone who participated we think this was nothing short of a victory for everyone involved! We can't wait to get on the events, marketing, publicity and digital campaign for our awesome client again.

Publicity Can Get You On the Television

We love working with super talented people and helping them get on television and in the media. Our client Ivan Krslovic, known for his time on The Bachelorette 2018 (and Advocados), came to us early in 2018 with his business 'Aussie Dance Tours'. He wanted Australia to know all about Aussie Dance Tours and also the amazingly talented dancers and choreographers he was bringing down under. We worked with Ivan and got him on Studio 10 not once but twice and given the success of his appearances we are sure they would love to have him back any time! Go Ivan! We love PR and getting our clients seen. Talent PR is seriously fun.

TMix Store Launch at Emporium, Melbourne

October 2018 saw us working with some brilliant clients including TMix who hired us to conduct events management for the launch of their store at Emporium in Melbourne. The event was a huge success with influencers, celebrities and guests turning out in droves to taste the fruit tea and bespoke donuts! Our team arranged all aspects of the event including media wall, photographer, suggestions for the menu on the night, fun photo booth which delivered brilliant social media snaps and more! We love running events and if we don't say so ourselves, we give great 360 event service. We would love to help you with your store launch and can promise a terrific experience for everyone who attends at event delivered by the Little Train team. Our event project price start from $3,000 (price depends on the size and requirement).

360 Events - We Got You Covered

It was 360 events management for 4Legs Natural Pet Food this past December (2018) with the inaugural Jingle Balls Dogs Day Out raising money and awareness for Pets of the Homeless. We loved working with 4Legs on their products Balls for a Cause and Jingle Balls! Both of these products support the fantastic charity Pets of the Homeless and were available in sample size on the day of the event. Our events management included logistics, liaising with council, risk management, organising security, food stalls, vendors, entertainment and more. Our public event was held at Marine Reserve and was hosted by Lara Shannon, the host of Channel Ten's Pooches at Play with celebrity guest Judge Gamble Breaux of Real Housewives of Melbourne and her celebu-dog Cash! We also conducted an additional publicity campaign which garnered editorial all around the country for this great day out. 4Legs was seen in the Herald Sun, Sydney Morning Herald, Brisbane Times, The Age, Cairns Post, The Advertiser, news.com.au whilst Channel 9 news turned up on the day to film all the fun. Pets of the Homeless Founder Yvonne Hong was also interviewed on the radio. This was a great day out and a great example of the excellent events service we provide to our clients coupled with publicity and marketing.

Case Study: Crisis Management PR

Quite often we are contacted to conduct crisis management PR. To give you an idea, sometimes people find themselves in a media situation that they are unsure of how to handle. A post on Facebook might have gone viral. They may find themselves caught in a legal mess that has been picked up by the press. We have helped many clients through this type of publicity. Often the press will be knocking on the clients door and they have no idea how to handle it. The message always requires handling which is where skilled publicists come into play. We walk in the world of journalism and the media daily. Recently a client contacted us to handle their publicity after a video went viral on Facebook and was then removed. The media were intensely interested in the story and we were able to take over all media leads. The end result was coverage on Channel 9 with an exclusive for A Current Affair. We wrote a statement from the client which greatly helped the media with information they needed and also supported the client with a managed message. The end result was over one hundred stories published with the correct messaging that was sensitive to the client.
